Lucajones

Back and forth. Chirping. Shadows dance. Silk threads glisten. A howl to the full moon far off. But it's day? A child. Or a dog. I howl back to see if anything happens. I'm too quiet. So many different chirps. Different sounds. Back and forth. Leaves glow. Some are limp. A consequence of my secateurs. The dog still howls. It cries. I try again. Silence. It starts again. I'm not good. This is fun. I'm singing with a distant dog. More chirps. The garden - a small mess but a work in progress. New plants. New life. New ideas. I howl again. I don't know why. But it's fun. I kind of want to get better. Sage must be confused. My hand tingles. I'm nearly there. The garden is pretty. The leaves are pretty. Lush. I love this. I'm here.
